Illness and Care Planning
No one expects to fall victim to severe illness or injury, but by readying for such an event we can be prudently prepared--and not further devastated--should such a situation arise. In this module, we investigate the effect a sickness or disability will have on our income level, or as we age, our ability to maintain our physical independence. We draw from the results of our retirement module to determine if a client has the means to support their loved ones if incapacitated, and also explore the effect our incapacity has on our family.
